If you spot evidence of rats or rodents near or on your property, you should contact an approved pest controller first.

You can find an approved pest controller in your area on the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) website.

Pest controllers who are members of the BPCA follow industry recognised standards, helping to ensure pest problems are dealt with safely and effectively.

If you think they are coming from the sewer network

Rats and rodents often nest in sewers or use them as a network.

You will need a report from a pest controller confirming that they are coming from the sewer network before we will arrange a visit.

Once you have confirmation, please contact us so that we can investigate. We will carry out a CCTV investigation to identify any potential defects in the sewer.

If the rats are escaping from your drain, you will be responsible for the necessary repairs.
